Description
Description: This TS8.2 monoclonal antibody recognizes human TCR V delta 1, a common framework determinant on the delta-subunit of the T cell receptor. Gamma-delta T cells are primarily found within the epithelium. They show less TCR diversity and recognize antigens differently than alpha-beta T cells. Subsets of gamma-delta T cells have shown antitumor and immunoregulatory activity. TCR V delta 1 Monoclonal Antibody (TS8.2) has been validated for the following applications: Flow Cytometry. Applications Reported: This TS8.2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This TS8.2 antibody has been pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This may be used at 5 μL (0.25 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser
The T Cell Receptor gamma-delta (TCR gamma delta) is a heterodimeric membrane receptor that consists of the highly variable gamma and delta chains expressed as part of a complex with the invariant CD3 proteins. Gamma-delta T cells are less frequent than alpha-beta T cells but compose a substantial part of T cells found at epithelial borders including the gut mucosa resident intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL). The antigenic stimuli required for gamma-delta T cell receptor activation are not well understood and are thought to be mainly MHC class-independent.Specifications
