Description

The Edwards RV vacuum pumps can be used in a variety of applications within the lab, the rugged design offers excellent ultimate vacuum with good pumping speeds, as well as superior vapor handling capabilities and quiet operation.

  • Dual frequency - can operate at 110-120 V or 230 V, 50/60 Hz
  • Very quiet - sound pressure at 1 m is 48 dB(A)
  • Dual mode - adjustment to give high gas throughput or high vacuum
  • Rugged design - improved water vapor handling, 290 gal./hr. at vapor pressures up to 80 mbar
  • Integral inlet valve - fast acting shut off valve prevents oil suck back in the event of power failure
  • Exhaust nozzle and mains cable to be ordered separately
  • For applications: analytical instruments; cryogenics; furnaces; thin layer deposition; high energy physics; vacuum ovens; evaporation; rotary evaporators; freeze drying; centrifugal forces; vacuum forming; distillation/extraction apparatus; filtration; fume hoods/glove boxes; impregnation; backing high vacuum systems.
