Description

The PathHunter™ eXpress CHRM3 Total GPCR Internalization Assay measures CHRM3 (GPCR) internalization via early-endosome localization. eXpress kits contain all assay materials: cells, reagents, and plates.

The PathHunter™ CHRM3 Total GPCR internalization eXpress kit provides an easy to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) affecting GPCR activation and internalization. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. acetycholine) based internalization of CHRM3 via detection of localization to the early endosome. This product uses EFC technology. The included cells overexpress PK-tagged CHRM3 and an EA-tagged early endosome protein. Upon ligand-induced receptor activation, resulting internalization of the CHRM3 receptor to the early endosome leads to production of EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates.
