Allows the rapid, reliable and qualitative detection of oil contaminations of water and soil. Macherey Nagel™ Oil Test Papers' sensitivity largely depends on the nature of the respective hydrocarbon.

  • For soil detection: press paper firmly against soil to be tested and rinse with clear water
  • For water detection: move paper back and forth in the sample a few times
  • In case of volatile hydrocarbons, color reaction of test paper has to be immediately evaluated
