• Test Specificity: The antibody specifically reacts with human MT1-MMP. This is a purified mouse monoclonal antibody to an oligopeptide of REVPYAYIREGHEK (residue 160-173) on human membrane-type 1 matrix metalloproteinase (human MT1-MMP) and does not react with mouse or rat. However, this sequence is identical in mouse and rat MT1-MMP. For unknown reasons this antibody does not react on westerns to CC1043.
