SPEX™ Low Binding Silica Grinding Beads are acid washed silica grinding beads that are chemically treated to keep samples from binding to titer plate.

  • Used for lysing dilute samples of cells in the Geno/Grinder
  • Treated to remove fine particles and contaminates
  • Coated to reduce non-specific binding of nucleic acids and proteins
  • Bead size approximately 400 μm and 800 μm
  • Compatible with all SPEX™ SamplePrep Titer Plates and Vial Sets
