Epredia™ Lab Vision™ XPA Ab-1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody, 200μg/mL, BSA and azide
Provide accurate, reproducible results with the Epredia™ XPA Ab-1, Mouse Monoclonal Antibody.
Brand: Epredia™ MS-650-P1ABX
Description
The XPA (xeroderma pigmentosum group A) protein specifically recognizes the UV-or chemically damaged DNA lesions, and triggers the nucleotide excision repair process. XPA binds to the replication protein A (RPA) or the excision repair cross complementing 1 protein (ERCC1). In the absence of nucleotide excision repair persisting (unrepaired) DNA lesions (adducts) may lead to the accumulation of gene mutations and ultimately to cancer. Xeroderma pigmentosum patients have a > 2000 fold increased risk to develop skin cancer at sun-exposed areas.Host Species: Mouse
