Thermo Scientific™ EZ-Link Maleimide-PEG11-Biotin is a long, maleimide-activated, sulfhydryl-reactive biotinylation reagent that includes an 11-unit polyethylene glycol spacer arm for increased water-solubility and reach.
Highlights:
- Polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer yields biotin-labeled proteins with greater solubility and less aggregation
- Forms stable thioether bond at pH 6.5-7.5
- PEG spacer improves aqueous solubility, allowing labeling to be performed under non-denaturing, physiological conditions
