These complete, ready-to-use kits include clear 96-well plate(s), other assay specific reagents, buffers, and a lot-specific technical data sheet.

The Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) Fluorometric Assay Kit is a highly reliable and sensitive assay designed for the quantitative measurement of ROS in fresh tissue and live cell samples. ROS are highly reactive molecules that play a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes, including oxidative stress, inflammation, and cellular signaling.

The assay works by utilizing the fluorescent probe 2',7'-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA) to detect the presence of ROS. DCFH-DA is taken up by cells and is converted to dichlorofluorescein (DCFH) by intracellular esterase. DCFH is oxidized by ROS to the strong fluorescent DCF. The fluorescence of DCF (Ex/Em 502/525 nm) is directly proportional to the amount of ROS present in the sample.

Key features
• Simple and fast protocol—user-friendly, requiring minimal hands-on time and providing rapid results within a short incubation period
• Broad range of kits—across key analytes and targets within the most important metabolic pathways
• Consistent—strict quality control criteria to ensure reproducible and reliable results
