Description

The Bloom test glass is used to determine the gelatinous strength (determination of the Bloom value).

The multitude of different work steps in the laboratory environment demands a multitude of universally applicable glassware. These glass devices usually have a very simple shape and are characterized by their versatility. In the fields of food technology and pharmaceutical technology, the gelling power of gelatine (gelatine strength) is described. For this purpose, the gelatine is poured into a specific shape, which is used to determine the Bloom value. A Bloom test glass is required for this step.
