Bring consistency and standardization to your cleanroom surface and personnel monitoring when using contact plates with the Thermo Scientific™ Contact Plate Applicator. Utilizing a stainless steel 500 gram weight and a calibrated built-in precision 10 second timer, the Contact Plate Applicator supports surface sampling in compliance with the ISO standard ISO-18593. The unit can be exposed to a fully validated VHP cycle for use in isolators.

Be confident in the consistency of your environmental monitoring with the Contact Plate Applicator. Made up of three key parts—(a) plate holder, (b) weight and (c) the timer—the applicator can be operated with the weight attached for surface sampling and without the weight attached for personnel sampling. The Contact Plate Applicator meets ISO 18593 for surface sampling: the total weight is 500g +/- 5g and the timer is 10 sec. +/- 0.1 sec.

  • Three year time unit functionality (based on 60 uses per day over a 36 month period) with built-in indicator that alerts the user when the recommended timer unit replacement is due.
