Thermo Scientific™ CaptureSelect™ AAT-XL Affinity Matrix has been specifically designed for the purification of native human alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) from complex sources like plasma/serum and recombinant human AAT from cell culture supernatants.

CaptureSelect AAT-XL Affinity Matrix has been specifically designed for the purification of native human alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) from complex sources like plasma/serum and recombinant human AAT from cell culture supernatants. This affinity matrix offers mild elution conditions at pH 6. The high selectivity and yield obtained using CaptureSelect AAT-XL Affinity Matrix enable a robust and efficient purification process with excellent purity obtained in a single step.

Features of this affinity matrix include:

  • Highly selective for native and recombinant human AAT
  • High recovery and yield obtained in a single purification step
  • Mild elution at pH 6
  • Excellent scalability
  • Non-animal-derived

Free of animal components

CaptureSelect products contain affinity ligands based on recombinant single-domain antibody fragments (VHH) created by a proprietary technology. The VHH affinity ligand is a 12 to 15 kDa fragment comprising the three complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) that form the antigen-binding domain, efficiently produced in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae by a production process free of any animal components (Animal Origin-Free).

Main characteristics:
