Description

The cAMP Hunter™ Liraglutide Bioassay Kit measures GLP-1R (GPCR) activity via increased levels of intracellular cAMP. Bioassay kits contain all assay materials: cells, reagents, and plates.

The cAMP Hunter Liraglutide Bioassay kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to determine Liraglutide potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay assesses Liraglutide based activation of GLP-1R GPCR activity via detection of levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wildtype GLP-1R , a naturally Gs coupled GPCR. Upon activation of GLP-1R , the increase in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to an increased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates.
