Description

The cAMP Hunter™ eXpress DRD2S (Short Isoform) CHO-K1 GPCR Assay measures DRD2S (GPCR) activity via decreased levels of intracellular cAMP. eXpress kits contain all assay materials: cells, reagents, and plates.

The cAMP Hunter™ DRD2S eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. dopamine) based activation of DRD2S GPCR activity via detection of decreasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wildtype DRD2S , a naturally Gi/Go coupled GPCR. Upon activation of DRD2S , the decrease in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to a decreased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates.
