Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human Hela whole cell, human placenta tissue, human A431 whole cell, human U2OS whole cell. IHC: human mammary cancer tissue. ICC/IF: U20S cell. Flow: SiHa cell. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

WEE1, which is classified as a Ser/Thr kinase by sequence analysis, has been shown to inactivate multiple CDKs by tyrosine phosphorylation. Wee1 protein catalyzes the inhibitory tyrosine phosphorylation of CDC2/cyclin B kinase, and appears to coordinate the transition between DNA replication and mitosis by protecting the nucleus from cytoplasmically activated CDC2 kinase.
