DescriptionVerso 1-Step Kits are designed for minimal hands-on time and faster results. The RT and QPCR reaction components are together in a single tube, reducing protocol times and minimizing the number of pipetting steps. The buffer system of the Verso 1-Step QRT-PCR Kits has been specifically optimized to work across a wide range of RNA templates for both transcription and amplification. Special enhancers and additives have been used to generate a reaction mixture which allows both reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase to work optimally.
Optimized buffer—Verso RT-qPCR Kits are based on a balanced buffer to maximize performance of both the reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase enzymes
Easy-to-see mix—The Verso RT-qPCR Kit contains an inert blue dye for easy sample visualization during reaction set-up
Superior dynamic range—Kit enables the detection of 10pg to 1Glc mug of total RNA or 1pg to 10ng mRNA, allowing for accurate detection and quantification of target RNA over a broad template range and ensuring that increases in target RNA concentration give rise to corresponding increases in qPCR signal
Maximum specificity—The chemically modified Thermo-Start™ Taq DNA Polymerase remains completely inactive during the reverse transcription stage; the enzyme is then fully activated at the start of the qPCR reaction by a 95°C heating step
Broad template range—Verso 1-Step RT-qPCR Kit can detect 10pg to 1μg of total RNA or 1pg to 10ng of mRNA
Easily adapted for automation—The simple 1-step protocol is compatible with robotic systems and reduces hands-on time
Unique RT Enhancer—Verso RT-qPCR Kits contain RT Enhancer, a unique enzyme that degrades any contaminating genomic DNA during the RT step and eliminates the need for a DNase I treatment of the extracted RNA, saving time and effort
Instrument specific—Individually optimized qPCR mixes designed for all major qPCR / Real-Time PCR instruments

These blue mixes are ideal for use with white reaction plates and tubes. An increase in detection efficiency is seen when using ABgene white PCR plastics for qPCR. While white plastics give superior qPCR results, they can make traditional colorless reagents difficult to see. With Verso, a simple glance ensures that the correct amount of master mix has been added.
