Monitor UVis-920 is a high-precision, multipurpose, standalone UV monitor. The use of different filters allows the monitor to cover wavelengths from 200nm to 700nm, without changing the lamp. Pre-assembled filters with holders are placed with a push-button mechanism. Other wavelengths can be achieved by using an appropriate filter assembled in an empty filter holder. The fibre optics, together with flow cell configurations, cover a wide flow range for a variety of applications While providing excellent flow cell accessibility. This allows columns to be placed close to the flow cell, which reduces band broadening and gives a high signal-to-noise ratio. This feature, together with a low noise and a low thermal drift, will allow a sensitive, stable and reliable UV/Vis absorbance detection. UV Flow cell ÅKTApilot can also be used with spectrohotometer model Uvis-920.
