Invitrogen™ TTBK1 Polyclonal Antibody
Description
A suggested positive control is Jurkat cell lysate. PA5-20686 can be used with blocking peptide PEP-0802.
TTBK1 is a member of the casein kinase 1 superfamily, and it functions as a neuron-specific serine/threonine and tyrosine kinase. Its primary role is to regulate the phosphorylation of tau, a protein that stabilizes microtubule assemblies. It has been found that genetic variants in this gene are linked to Alzheimer's disease. Additionally, TTBK1 is associated with several other diseases, including Childhood-Onset Schizophrenia and Spinocerebellar Ataxia 11.
