Description
Unique sealing film that protects against external contamination as well as preventing sample evaporation, well to well contamination and sample spillage. A scored paper backing protects the adhesive and maintains the sterility of the sealing film. The centre section of the paper backing is peeled away leaving two 12mm gripping tabs at each end, for easy one step alignment and application of the film onto the plate.
Optimal sealing
- excellent adhesion guarantees that each and every well on the microtitre plate is individually sealed.
Chemically stable
- made from a durable 0.1mm thick transparent polyethylene, which is waterproof, solvent resistant, non-cytotoxic and compatible with all plastics.
Thermally stable
- resistant to 100% humidity and temperature from -40°C to +100°C, stay solidly attached, making ideal for use with thermal cyclers and PCR* methods.
Sterile and non-cytotoxic
- pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation and made of FDA approved non-cytotoxic polyethylene film, combined with an equally strong (non-cytotoxic) acrylic adhesive.
Convenient
- each pre-cut rectangular sheet measures 152mm wide x 83mm long.
Convenient sample retrieval
- samples may be withdrawn by firmly piercing the film with a pipette tip or by peeling the film back to reveal the wells.
Labelling
