Manufactured according to Eur. Pharm. Chapter 4 (4.1.1) and prepared in an ISO 9001 facility. Thioacetamide Solution, EP Grade, Reagecon™ is a ready-to-use reagent with 40g/L of C₂H₅NS in water used to supply sulfide ions in manual and automated titrations.

Thioacetamide is an organosulfur compound that serves as a source of sulfide ions in the synthesis of organic and inorganic compounds. When a solution of thioacetamide is used to treat an aqueous solution of many metal cations, the corresponding metal sulfide results. This solution is prepared by adding 40g per 1L water.
