soluble TNF Receptor I (human) Recombinant Protein, Invitrogen™
soluble TNF Receptor I (human) Recombinant Protein, RP-75725, from Invitrogen™
Brand: Invitrogen RP75725
UNSPSC : 12352203
Code : LD
Additional Details : Weight : 0.01000kg
DescriptionTwo types of soluble TNF receptors (sTNFR-I and sTNFR-II) have been identified, which act to neutralize the biological activities of TNF alpha and TNF beta. Levels of these soluble receptors appear to arise as a result of shedding of the extracllular domains of the membrane bound receptors. Elevated levels of soluble TNF receptors have been found in the amniotic fluid of pregnant women.
Host Species: E. Coli
Formulation: 100μg purified protein (1.1mg/mL) in TBS with 50% glycerol, 1mM EDTA and no preservative; pH 8
RP-75725 contains a purified 161 amino acid fragment (aa41-201) corresponding to the mature soluble TNF receptor I protein with an N-terminal hexahistidine tag. RP-75725 may be used as a positive control in many immunological assays. This protein has a molecular weight of ∽22.68 kDa.
