Inhibin Beta A Chain (human) Recombinant Protein, Invitrogen™
Inhibin Beta A Chain (human) Recombinant Protein, RP-75635, from Invitrogen™
Brand: Invitrogen RP75635
Code : LD
Additional Details : Weight : 0.01000kg
Description
Inhibins are dimeric peptide hormones producted by female ovarian granulose cells and male Sertoli cells as well as a variety of other tissues. Inhibins have two isoforms, A and B, with the same alpha subunit but different beta subunits. Inhibin A is a dimer of alpha and beta A subunits, inhibin B is a dimer of alpha and beta B subunits. Inhibins are thought to inhibit the production of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) by the pituitary gland. In addition, inhibins are also thought to play a role in the control of gametogenesis and embryonic and foetal development.Host Species: E. Coli
Formulation: 10μg purified protein (0.05mg/mL) in Laemmli and no preservative; pH 6.8
RP-75635 contains a purified 116 amino acid fragment (aa311-426) corresponding to the mature Inhibin beta A chain protein with an N-terminal hexahistidine tag. RP-75635 may be used as a positive control in Western blot assays. This protein has a molecular weight of ∽17.47 kDa.
