Description
Tetraammineplatinum(II) hydroxide solution acts as a precursor for a platinum catalyst. It acts as noble metal catalyst which is primarily useful for homogeneous catalysis applications. It is used as a catalyst in hydrogenation, carbonylation, hydroformylation, chiral catalysis reactions and ruthenium dyes. Furthermore, it is used for C-X coupling reaction like Heck, Suzuki and Stille reactions.
