Description

Constructed with pre-moistened viscose tip and polypropylene shaft. Technical Service Consultants™ TSC Neutralizing Buffer is suitable for clinical and veterinary infection control settings.

  • Recommended for: hygiene surveillance (HACCP) and environmental monitoring of most surfaces where chemical residue neutralisation is recommended
  • Ideal for whole sample analysis; food security from 'farm to fork' scenarios, including TACCP validation; suitable for clinical and veterinary infection control settings
  • Excellent recovery of organisms including TVC, Listeria spp., Staphylococci, Enterobacteriaceae eg Salmonella spp, E.coli (E coli / ecoli / e. coli), Enterobacter, staphylococcus, klebsiella, E. coli Enterobacter, Enterobacter sakazakii
  • Known limitations:
    • Analyze as soon as possible due to the small volume to minimize sample dryout and organism loss
    • Refrigeration will stabilize recovery of some organisms
    • Not suitable for most fastidious organisms unless analyzed immediately
  • Shelf life: 12 months
  • Sterilised by gamma irradiation to SAL of 10-6
