R&D Systems™ StemXVivo Neural Progenitor Differentiation Kit
Description
Pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) are functionally defined by their capacity for self-renewal and their ability to differentiate into cells from all three germ layers. Mouse PSCs are characterized by their marker expression, including positive markers Oct-3/4, SSEA-1, Alkaline Phosphatase, and negative marker, SSEA-4. Optimal expansion and maintenance of mouse PSCs in culture is facilitated by using specialized stem cell base media supplemented with mouse leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF).
Benefits:
- Yields highly homogenous NPC population
- Kit-derived NPCs can be differentiated into astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, and multiple neuron subtypes
