The unit of choice for maxi vertical gel electrophoresis. Glass plates are completely sealed against a soft silicone gasket ensuring no possibility of current leakage during extended runs.
Efficient cooling - glass plates are completely immersed in buffer, which acts as an effective heat sink, homogenising the gel temperature. The supercooled option further allows heat to be removed from the gel
