IL-19 protein is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50 as determined by a cell proliferation assay using human IL-20R alpha and human IL-20R beta co-transfected murine BaF3 pro-B cells is less than 1.5 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of >6.7 x 10^5 IU/mg.
