The RapidFinder™ Chicken ID Kit enables the simple and reliable detection of chicken in food and feed samples. The method works by detection of chicken, or Gallus gallus, DNA by real-time PCR.

  • When used with the GMO Extraction Kit (4466336) for sample preparation, the RapidFinder™ Chicken ID Kit detects both raw and processed chicken and provides sensitivity down to 0.01% chicken DNA
  • The included positive control, which comprises 0.1% chicken DNA, can be used as a reference to set the threshold of detection of the assay
  • Assay is compatible with Applied Biosystems™ StepOne™, StepOnePlus™, 7500, 7500 Fast, and 7300 real-time PCR systems
