The antibody is expected to recognize all 4 isoforms of PSME4 but appears to mainly detect isoform 2 of 140 kDa.

proteasome (prosome, macropain) activator subunit 4 (PSME4) is subunit of the proteasome. PSME4 has been found to activate proteasomal cleavage of peptides in an energy-independent manner and may be involved in spermatogenesis. PSME4 may also be involved in DNA repair.
