    This latest version (5.1) of the ProtoArray™ Human Protein Microarray contains over 9,000 unique human proteins selected from multiple gene families. This array can be used for a broad range of applications including:

  • Identifying novel protein biomarkers specific for disease states, including transplantation, cancers, and autoimmune diseases
  • Discovering and identifying drug target pathways
  • Profiling antibody specificity for research and therapeutic antibody development
  • Mapping protein-protein interactions important to biochemical pathways

    Utilizes Active Proteins from the Invitrogen™ Ultimate™ ORF Collection
    The ProtoArray™ Human Protein Microarray is designed for maximum protein functionality. The proteins are produced from clones selected from the Invitrogen™ Ultimate™ ORF Collection, the first and only clone resource to offer full-insert sequenced clones in a Gateway™ vector. Clones are expressed as N-terminal GST fusion proteins using a baculovirus expression system. All proteins are purified under nondenaturing conditions and printed at 4°C to preserve native protein structure.

    Have Confidence in Your Results
    To help ensure confidence in your results, proteins are arrayed in duplicate on a 1 inch by 3 inch glass slide along with many controls for background, labeling, and detection. The glass slide is an ultra-thin nitrocellulose-coated slide specifically selected for its low background binding. Each slide is labeled with a unique bar code for easy tracking. ProtoArray™ protein microarrays are easily read with most commercially available fluorescent microarray scanners.
