Thermo Scientific™ Precise Tris-HEPES Gels are precast polyacrylamide gels for protein electrophoresis (PAGE) that use Tris-HEPES running buffer, have long shelf lives, and provide compatibility with different commercial gel tanks.

Precise Gels are cast in a durable plastic cassette using a neutral-pH buffer that prevents polyacrylamide breakdown and results in a long shelf life. High-resolution staining and transfer of proteins is accomplished quickly on these 1mm thick mini gels. Gels are individually packaged in an easy-to-open plastic pouch and are ready to run with no comb or tape to remove. Following electrophoresis, the cassettes are easy to dismantle (no special tools required) without damaging the gel. Precise Gels are available in gradient (4 to 20% and 8 to 16%) and fixed (8%, 10% and 12%) concentrations and in 10-well, 12-well and 15-well formats.
