Used to determine KOH content and in acid determination in wine. Potassium Hydroxide, 0.1M, Reagecon™ is a ready-to-use analytical volumetric solution with 5.61g/L HCl in water for use as a laboratory reagent. It is also suitable for use in the wine industry.

Potassium Hydroxide is a prototypical strong base that is corrosive and reactive toward acids. It is soluble in water, forming an electrolyte solution. This is an analytical volumetric solution used in manual and automated titrations. This solution meets all test methods included in the Compendium of International Methods of Wine and Must Analysis, and can be used in determination of tartaric acid in wine.
