Description

Phire Hot Start II DNA Polymerase is an upgraded version of the original Phire Hot Start DNA Polymerase. Due to improved Affibody-based hot start technology the polymerase has no annealing temperature limitations and it is extremely fast (extension time of only 10-15 s/kb). The unique dsDNA-binding domain makes Phire Hot Start II DNA Polymerase very robust and capable of amplifying long DNA fragments with high yields. The Affibody-based inactivation method of Phire Hot Start DNA Polymerase increases the specificity of the amplification at ambient temperatures but allows immediate and complete reactivation of the enzyme at standard cycling temperatures.
