MA5-15797 targets PDK1 in indirect ELISA, FACS, IF, IHC, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human, Non-human primate, and Rat samples. The MA5-15797 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human PDK1 expressed in E. Coli. MA5-15797 detects PDK1 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 44kDa.

PDK1 (3-phosphoinositide dependent kinase-1) is a serine/threonine protein kinase localized to the plasma membrane. It plays a vital role in insulin-induced glycogen synthesis, PKC activation, and activation of the AGC subfamily of protein kinases. Plays an important role in cellular responses to hypoxia and is important for cell proliferation under hypoxia. Protects cells against apoptosis in response to hypoxia and oxidative stress.
