Description
Pararosaniline hydrochloride is used to dye polyacrylonitrile fibers. It is also is used as a colorimetric test for aldehydes, in the Schiff test. It is the only basic fuchsine component suitable for making the aldehyde-fuchsine stain for pancreatic islet beta cells.
