Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human PC-3 whole cell, human A549 whole cell, human U87 whole cell, human THP-1 whole cell, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue. IHC: human breast cancer tissue, human colorectal adenocarcinoma tissue, human liver cancer tissue, mouse brain tissue, mouse brain tissue, rat brain tissue, rat brain tissue IHC-F: human placenta tissue. ICC/IF: A549 cell, U2OS cell. Flow: U87 cell. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
This gene encodes a neuron-specific RNA-binding protein, a member of the Nova family of paraneoplastic disease antigens, that is recognized and inhibited by paraneoplastic antibodies. These antibodies are found in the sera of patients with paraneoplastic opsoclonus-ataxia, breast cancer, and small cell lung cancer. Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
