Description

Maintain the integrity of the sample, while allowing syringe penetration. Macherey-Nagel™ Septa for Type N 8 Screw Caps provide an air-tight seal that prevents contamination. Available in a variety of materials. Polypropylene screw caps with a center hole sold separately.

  • PTFE septa is chemically resistant and allows puncturing
  • Silicone lining allows repeated puncturing by preventing coring damage
  • Slitted septa require less pressure to penetrate, preventing needle damage
  • Packaged as 100 pieces (septa only) in a polyethylene bag
  • Linerless black polypropylene screw caps with a center hole for type N8 vials are sold separately (mfr. no. 70249)
