The Thermo Scientific 384 Multisip Septum Cap Mat features a split septum design. This is perfect for sealing tall chimney 384-well PCR and storage plates. This mat can withstand a wide range of temperatures, and the product is 100% reseable even after multiple piercings. Caps can be pierced simultaneously.

Features of Thermo Scientific 384 Multisip Septum Cap Mats

  • Available as a set of 5 mats (AB-1176) or 50 mats (AB-1171)
  • 384 split septum caps for use with 384-well tall-chimney plates (AB-0937, AB-1055, AB-1056)
  • Suitable for PCR when used in conjunction with screw or clip-down heated lid thermal cyclers
  • Pierceable with standard pipetting equipment
  • 384 septum caps may be pierced simultaneously
  • Less than 0.5 N pierce pressure per cap
  • 100% re-sealing after multiple piercings
  • Solvent resistant, including acetonitrile and DMSO†
  • Fully autoclavable
  • Temperature range:-20°C to +120°C
