Eurofins DiscoverX MSK2 Protein, Active
Description
MSK1 (mitogen- and stress-activated protein kinases-1, ribosomal protein S6 kinase, 90kDa, polypeptide 5) and MSK2 (mitogen- and stress-activated protein kinases-2, ribosomal protein S6 kinase, 90kDa, polypeptide 4) are activated in vitro by MAPK2/ERK2 or SAPK2/p38. Endogenous MSK is activated by UV radiation, oxidative stress, and other cell-damaging stimuli. MSK may mediate the growth factor and stress-induced activation of CREB.
GenBank AJ010119
