Manufactured according to European Pharmacopoeia Chapter 4 (4.1.1) and prepared in an ISO 9001 facility. Mercuric Bromide Paper, EP Grade, Reagecon™ is a ready-to-use test sheet that has absorbed a 50g/L solution of mercuric bromide in ethanol for use in arsine/arsenic detection.

Mercuric Bromide Paper detects arsine directly at the boundary layer between water and air. White filter paper weighing 80g/m2 are placed in a 50g/L solution of mercuric bromide in ethanol, drained of excess liquid and dried. The paper turns brown when exposed to As.
