Description

Ready to use PET membrane-covered slide with blue marking area. Zeiss MembraneSlides provide excellent DNA, RNA or protein recovery. Available in packs of 100.

MembraneSlides are glass slides covered with a thin membrane which is biochemically inert. Membrane will be cut with the sample and acts as a stabilizing backbone during the lifting process. Therefore, a single laser pulse can lift even a large area without affecting the morphological integrity. This feature is especially important for the isolation of single cells, chromosomes as well as for live cells or small organisms. Also visualization of collected samples in the cap is facilitated.
