  • M9 Minimal Medium Salts can be made as a sterile 5X concentrated solution and diluted to 1X before use.
  • M9 Minimal medium salts are suitable for the preparation of M9 Minimal Medium for use in propagation of E. coli and plasmid amplification.
  • The resulting M9 medium can be used for maintaining positive selection pressure on plasmids coding for genes to produce essential substances such as amino acids and vitamins and for maintenance of F'-containing bacteria strains for M13 propagation.
