The Thermo Scientific 2D Labtainer with BioTitan BioProcess Container is composed of Aegis5-14 single-web, multi-layer film.
Features of the Thermo Scientific 2D BPC system include:
- Now manufactured with the BioTitan Retention Device—designed to provide superior universal retention that minimizes the risk of leakage and failure at the connection point
- Use to eliminate post-use cleaning steps required with re-useable containers and to reduce cross-contamination risks
- Constructed in an ISO 7 cleanroom under cGMP conditions
Applications of the Thermo Scientific 2D BPC include:
- Harvest from, feed into, and collect samples from bioreactors and fermentors
- Buffer, culture media, and process liquid preparation and storage
- Chromatography feed and fraction collection
- Harvest, storage, and transport of bulk drug product and bulk drug precursors
