Description
A suggested positive control is mouse spleen tissue lysate. PA5-20687 can be used with blocking peptide PEP-0803.
KLRA2 is a gene that encodes a protein called Killer Cell Lectin-like Receptor A2. This protein is expressed on the surface of natural killer cells and is involved in recognizing and eliminating virally infected or cancerous cells. KLRA2 is located on chromosome 12 and is part of a larger family of genes that encode for similar receptors. The KLRA2 protein interacts with a variety of ligands, including certain viruses and tumor cells. Mutations or variations in the KLRA2 gene have been associated with autoimmune disorders and cancer. KLRA2 is an important gene that plays a key role in the immune system's ability to recognize and eliminate abnormal or infected cells.
