Invitrogen™ JunB Polyclonal Antibody

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Brand: Invitrogen™ PA1835
Description
PA1-835 detects JunB from mouse cells. PA1-835 has been successfully used in ChiP, Western blot and immunoprecipitation procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ~38 kDa protein representing JunB from both uninduced and induced L929 cells. The PA1-835 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues D(45) P Y R G L K G P G A R G P G P E(61) of mouse JunB. Reconstitute in 200 μL PBS to create a stock of 1 mg/mL.
JunB, a member of the Jun cellular oncogene family, is a basic region, leucine zipper transcription factor. It is involved in regulating gene activity following the primary growth factor response. JunB binds to the DNA sequence 5'-TGA[CG]TCA-3'. Cellular oncogenes play critical roles in cellular communication pathways that regulate growth, development, and differentiation.
