Invitrogen™ IRAK-M Polyclonal Antibody
Description
In Western blot applications, this antibody detects a band at ~68kDa. A suggested positive control is mouse spleen tissue lysate. PA5-19969 can be used with blocking peptide PEP-0094.
IRAK3 serine/threonine kinase or interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 3 is a member of the interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase protein family which are essential components of the Toll/IL-R immune signal transduction pathways. IRAK3 is primarily expressed in monocytes and macrophages and functions as a negative regulator of Toll-like receptor signaling. IRAK3 mediates critical aspects of innate immunity that result in an immunocompromised state during sepsis. Mutations in IRAK3 are associated with a susceptibility to asthma.
