Includes Platinum PCR SuperMix High Fidelity is supplied at 1.1X concentration to allow approximately 10% of the final reaction volume to be used for the addition of primer and template solutions. Reagents sufficient for 100 amplification reactions of 50μL each are provided (4 x 1.125mL). Platinum PCR SuperMix High Fidelity Components: 22U/mL complexed recombinant Taq DNA polymerase, Pyrococcus species GB-D thermostable polymerase, and Platinum Taq Antibody; 66mM Tris-SO4 (pH 8.9); 19.8mM (NH4)2SO4; 2.4mM MgSO4; 220μM dNTPs; and stabilizers.

PlatinumPCR SuperMix, High Fidelity, is a ready-to-use mixture of DNA polymerase, salts, magnesium, and dNTPs for efficient PCR amplification. You need only add template and primers, reducing set-up time by half.

Using PlatinumPCR SuperMix, High Fidelity
PlatinumPCR SuperMix, High Fidelity, is for high-specificity, high-fidelity DNA amplification applications, such as cloning or mutagenesis. High fidelity is provided by a mixture of Taq DNA polymerase and the proofreading Pyrococcus species GB-D polymerase. High specificity is achieved by anti-Taq antibodies, allowing for automatic “hot-start” PCR. This hot-start capability increases specificity and yield and allows for room-temperature reaction assembly.
