Invitrogen™ Bovine Serum Albumin
Description
Bovine Serum Albumin is suitable for use as enzyme stabilizer during purification or for dilution of restriction endonucleases and nucleic acid modifying enzymes. BSA is also commonly used in DNA and protein labeling experiments as a blocking agent to minimize background.
- Acetylated to inactivate contaminating nucleases and proteases
- Supplied as aqueous solution at concentration of 45 to 55mg/mL
- Performance and quality testin: Purity is determined by SDS-PAGE
- No detectable contaminating activity is observed in 3' and 5' exonuclease, DNA nicking, and restriction endonuclease inhibition assays
