Includes

25bp DNA Ladder (1μg/μL) in 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 1mM EDTA

Suitable for sizing double-stranded DNA from 25 bp to 500 bp

Prepared from a plasmid containing repeats of a 25bp DNA fragment, the ladder consists of 19 blunt fragments ranging in length from 25 to 450bp, at 25bp increments, plus a 500bp band.

Product use

  • This ladder can be stained with ethidium bromide or radiolabeled using T4 DNA polymerase or T4 polynucleotide kinase
  • The 125bp band is approximately 2 to 3 times brighter than the other bands, except for the 500bp and 2652bp bands, to provide internal orientation
  • This ladder is not designed for quantitation. Compatible with agarose gels
