Description
MIA1703 targets Alkaline Phosphatase in ELISA, IHC, IP, and RIA applications and shows reactivity with Bovine samples. The MIA1703 immunogen is purified Bovine Calf Intestine ALP. MIA1703 detects Alkaline Phosphatase which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 57 kDa. MIA1703 was formerly sold as a Seradyn product.
There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The intestinal alkaline phosphatase gene encodes a digestive brush-border enzyme. This enzyme is upregulated during small intestinal epithelial cell differentiation.
